Leaving the Old Town in the direction of
Puerto Banús, on the beach side, we can visit the remains of a hispanic-roman villa. They
date back to I-II AD and were excavated in 1962 and exposed as we can see them today. From
the Rio Verde Roman Villa, whose name comes from the river near where it was built, we can
see a beautiful mosaic floor in a house which once had a structure of five rooms which
surrounded a central interior patio. |
