La Casa Consistorial

The Casa Consistorial was built in 1568. On the right corner and over the façade we see a sundial, come coats of arms and some comemorative stone plaques which have been kept in a perfect condition, and the inscriptions in old castilian are clearly legible. One of them dates back to 11 June 1485, date on which the Catholic Kings reconquered the city from the moors. Others dated 1632 comemorate the bringing of water to the city, and one dated 1779 reminds us of an extension which was added to the building.
