Calle Ancha

|
This is one of the widest streets in the
Old Quarter, and is deservedly called Calle Ancha (Wide Street), here we find the Plaza
and the Ermita del Santo Cristo de la Vera Cruz, which
was built in the XV century, extended in the XVIII century and restored in 1992. The main
façade shows a simple stone construction and the traditional whitewash finish. At the far
left of the roof we can see a square tower, with an octagonal eaves covered with the
galzed ceramic which is typical of the area.
