MINA
LA TRINIDAD
At about one kilometre coming out of Benalmádena towards Mijas, there is a track on the right side. After a few metres we will cross the highway under a bridge, and we will immediately turn left by a pathway which has been used for years by people who exploited the ochre mines to which this path will take us. Once here, for those people with the capacity and knowledge of the dangers entailed in entering these mines, you can visit some of the galleries where there are some natural halls with geological formations.
Continuing our course, from this point, the pathway becomes a track for one kilometre until the territorial limits with Mijas; we will follow the local limits ascending to the Castillejos hills and from here we will enter the Mijas district through a vehicular road until the Moro hills, where we can contemplate some marvellous views of a large part of the province of Málaga. This course is about 5 kilometres long and the time used will be about two and a half hours.
