The privileged geographic position of Archidona, on the road junction which crosses our autonomous community, extraordinarily promoted by the opening of the highways which join the principal Andalusian capitals, has revolutionized this cross-roads condition.

Archidona has an industrial estate, in the process of expansion, with a total area of 72.841 km², situated to the east of the city at approximately 1 Km. from the town centre. Totally equipped with infrastructures for the supply of water, electricity, refuse collection, paving and other services, the estate is adopting an incipient industrial activity which is constantly expanding.

The businesses which are being established here, can have access to a system of fiscal advantages and subsidies which the autonomous community foresees for spaces which, like this one, are situated within the nominated "depressed regions".

The town hall of Archidona will facilitate more information through its Promotion and Development Office to those interested in investing in the municipal district, and will also facilitate contacts with Andalusian public entities in charge of handing out subsidies and established aid for locating industrial or tourist activities.
