The religious order of the Minimums of
San Francisco de Paula was established in 1556, also favoured by the duke of Osuna. Very
deteriorated after the War of Independence, when it served as headquarters to the French
troops, the convent was demolished and only the church remains presenting a mannerist
facade topped with a graceful steeple. |
