POPULAR FESTIVITIES

Easter in Antequera is one of the most traditional to be found in Andalusia. Regarding the images, its artistic level is at the height of the best with impressive baroque exponents.

In the purely festive sphere, there is the Spring Festival (at the end of May and beginning of June), prelude to the Royal fair in August which attracts visitors from all of Andalusia. Important bullfights are celebrated in both fairs.
